A couple of days exploring the Miami South Beach area,

First evening - start off with cocktails, of course, 

 great fun, everybody is so welcoming, interested in who we were, not just serving us.



Took a bite at a beach front cafe, food delicious, again service was friendly and fast.

 We took a walk around the Art-Deco area of town, these buildings are fast being dwarfed by the modern massive hotels that are being out up. It will be a shame if this clearly 1950's influenced buildings are lost.


These buildings form such a part of the 'Miami' that we wanted to see, the 'Cuban', South American and Spanish influences all come through, in a dramatic contrast to other parts that are only a few hundred meters away.

As we had flown in, we could make out the massive size of the full City that Miami is, this is just a small corner, but it has an atmosphere and bustle about it that is quite magical. To back up the Art-deco buildings there is also the Art itself, galleries hidden away, that you stumble across as well as pieces out in the open for all to enjoy.

 Even the Hotels were not just ordinary, the use of colour and the layout of the well planned gardens meant that we were always feeling like we were part of the creations.

The use of neon lighting means that a night time walk is a must, as well as taking an organised guided walk during daylight.

  It is not just the Hotel designs that create the Art-Deco quarter, nearly every hotel has joined in with sculptures, paintings and pieces, there is so much to take in that we were left feeling that we had only seen the 'tip of the iceberg' as we had only planned to stay for a couple of nights.




It also felt strange that Christmas celebrations were starting, in temperatures that were more akin to a UK summer, but at least Santa was wearing clothes that fitted the local weather:

Leave the Recipient Wanting More
While you should be direct with your subject line, you also don’t want to give everything away. The email recipient should want to read more. Leave a little bit of mystery to the subject.
For example, you might state, “Your best online marketing tips are ready.”
With this subject line, the reader knows that the email will contain marketing tips or a link to tips. But, they don’t know much else. This is easy to do. Typically, you just need to cut your headline in half.
A full headline might’ve read, “Discover the best online marketing tips for increasing conversion rates.”
By removing the last half of the headline, and personalizing the beginning, you’re left with a short, effective subject line.

Use Alliteration in Your Subject Lines
Alliteration is the repeated occurrence of the same letter. It makes headlines, titles, and subject lines stand out. They’re more fun to read and more likely to result in an opened email.
Using the previous example, “More marketing tips to help you make money.”
The repetition of the same letter draws your eye to the subject line. When you’re scrolling through multiple emails in your inbox, this small difference can have a big impact on whether or not you open an email.

Use Second-Person Narrative
You should craft your subject lines using second-person narrative. The words that you’re reading right now are written in the second person. This is the use of “you” and “your” in your subject line and copy.
Second-person narrative is a little more personable than third-person, where there is no pronoun. Look at the following two examples:

• Your best online marketing tips are ready


• The best online marketing tips are ready

The second example doesn’t have the same impact as the first one. It doesn’t make any connection to the reader.
Basically, you need to include “you” somewhere in your subject line.

Always Test Multiple Subject Lines
You should always test two separate subject lines when you send out a round of emails. A/B split testing allows you to compare two variations of the same email. You can look at the results and easily see which subject line worked best.

Every time you check these results, make a note of the difference between the two subject lines. This will help you learn what works and what doesn’t.
Crafting effective subject lines requires practice. 
You won’t always get the results that you want. Remember to test multiple subject lines, keep them short, and speak to your reader.

4. Don't listen to the naysayers who tell you that life is supposed to be a struggle and that you should settle and be grateful for what you have.

5. Expect to make more money. For this one, you have to think big. $100,000, $500,000, or why not $1 million?

6. Lose the fear and scarcity mindset and start seeing money for all the good things: freedom, opportunity, possibility, and abundance.

  7. Being rich isn't a privilege. Being rich is a right. If you create massive value for others, you have the right to be as rich as you want.

8. Don't wait for your ship to come in. You're not going to be discovered, saved, or made rich by an outside force. If you want a lot of money, build your own ship. No one is coming to the rescue.

  9. Stop worrying about running out of money and focus on how to make more. Constantly worrying about money is no way to live. Dream about money, instead.

  10. Stop telling yourself that getting rich is outside of your control. The truth is that making money is an inside job.
